Adams & Martin Group is currently working with a Downtown LA law firm, in its search for an Associate Attorney to join their team. Firm is open to someone wanting to work in a strictly temporary capacity, or with the possibility of becoming a permanent employee.

This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on trial experience while working on a diverse portfolio of complex civil defense cases, including civil rights, employment law, and general liability. Opportunity will provide full-time hours and opportunity to work hybrid.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload in both state and federal courts.
• Draft legal documents including motions, pleadings, and discovery responses.
• Conduct legal research and prepare for hearings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on trial strategy and courtroom proceedings.

Qualifications:

• Active membership with the California State Bar.
• 3-8 years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong written and verbal advocacy skills.
• Proven ability to manage cases independently.
• Deposition and courtroom experience preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $150,000- $210,000, based on years of experience
• Hybrid work model with remote flexibility
• Eligibility for full benefits package, including 401k, bar dues, and PTO upon permanent hire with firm
